Two wireless buttons are installed on the front and back of the vehicle. The driver must press these buttons before they begin to drive. If the vehicle moves without the buttons being pressed, an alarm will sound from the a receiver installed inside of the vehicle. The alarm will not silence until the buttons have been pressed.
Yes. SW360 offers standard event monitoring and reporting of the events.
The SW360 online user portal allows users to review the following data:
1. The top offenders in your organization
2. Ignition On
3. Ignition OFF
4. Full compliance events (walk around complete)
5. Noncompliance events (no walk around)
6. Unplugged event (email notification to designated personnel)
7. GPS coordinates of each event above.
An example of our portal dashboard can be seen in Fig 1 below.
Various factors determine the lifespan of the battery. Extreme cold climates may see decreased battery life. We reccommend changing the wireless button batteries annually and retaining spares with the vehicle.
Each SW360 wireless button uses a single CR 2032, just like a key fob for your vehicle. We suggest purchasing a highquality battery. Studies have shown these name brand batteries perform much better in inclement environments. See Figure 3 below.
Yes. These batteries are rated to -40 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Yes. We currently offer up to 4 wireless buttons per vehicle. A complete SW360 system comes with (2) wireless buttons. Any additional buttons must be purchased separately.
No. These wireless buttons are paired specifically to each SW360. The frequencies emitted will not interfere with other objects or devices in close proximity.
Yes. The receiver will enter a deep sleep mode when no activity is detected but will allow incoming signals from the buttons.
No. After a few hours of movement not being detected, the SW360 receiver will enter “deep sleep”. This feature mode consumes very small amounts of energy.
Yes. Please keep in mind the alarm is built into the receiver. The sound level will be affected if the receiver is enclosed or tucked away.
We have designed a feature that will send an email notification to an identified individual within your organization each time the SW360 is unplugged. This event will also be recorded and is viewable on the SW360 portal.
No. The SW360 is always powered. The vehicle can be running or not running during the Heatland Sourcing.
YES! We designed SW360 with this scenario in mind!
Yes. The SW360 will not operate without it. We can structure the data fee payment to be processed monthly or annually.

No. SW360 uses an installation harness that installed to the vehicles battery. SW360 will not interfere with your current vehicle telematics system.
We utilize a VHB tape, this stands for Very High Bond. This is the same double-sided tape used to attach emblems and moldings on cars and trucks. Did you know fender flares and sometimes headlights are typically attached with this double-sided tape? Front license plates are typically attached with this tape as well. The end user can choose to glue the buttons to the vehicle that will not result in damage or attached with screws that will cause permanent modification to the vehicle. The receiver does not require adhesives or screws for installation.
Once each button is pressed the receiver will beep. If the beep is not audible, the button battery needs replaced.
No. The wireless buttons placed around the vehicle do not sense objects. These wireless buttons are in place to give the driver an opportunity to observe their surroundings for hazards
Unplug the device and contact SW360 for a replacement button. Your companies fleet manager will receive a notification the SW360 receiver has been unplugged.
No, The SW360 receiver acknowledges the amount of wireless buttons per vehicle, not the location on the vehicle.
No, we recommend that location to get the full 360 degree walk around. The end user can place the buttons wherever they choose. See figure 2 below
SW360 can be installed on any vehicle or piece of equipment that uses a 12-24V battery. Below is an example list of vehicles and equipment.
Anyone can install SW360 if you follow the instructions and have the common tools. If you dont feel comfortable installing SW360, you can identify a local installation technician to perform the installation at a cost to be assumed by you. We will gladly give the technician a short training session to assure the SW360 is installed properly
